About NSC Cylinders

NSC Electroplating cc has been operating since early 1996. Although Nickel Silicon Carbide electroplating (Nikasil) is a well established technology, there were no companies providing this service in South Africa.

The market was too small for the bigger companies to consider and the cylinders had to be sent to England or Germany for repair.

The time span for the cylinders being sent to England varied from 6 weeks onwards. To the people waiting for their bikes to be repaired this was an eternity.

That is why we started NSC Electroplating.  We are proud of our humble beginnings and have worked hard to achieve the trust and respect of our clients. NSC Electroplating is a trusted name for our reliability and focussed workmanship.

We have repaired various types of cylinders ranging from moto x bikes, road bikes, karts and boat engines. We have done work for bikes racing in Malaysia, Australia as well as a GP Bike Team in England.

We are proud of our workmanship and have to say that with our exchange rate and attention to detail we must rate as one of the best options around.
